The story behind your journey, a message
For most travellers, a trip to Sikkim is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we understand its quiet significant. That is why, at Bespoke Sikkim, we don’t take your journey lightly, and neither should you.
We did not begin as an agency. We had a humble beginning, like how things start from scratch. We drove these mountain roads for a living, started interacting with our valuable visitors one at a time. The conversations along the way, the tours we conducted initially and the feedback we got somehow left a deep mark on us, and we could understand how different the choices of the visitors are. It was then when we realized to make things professional and bit different with storytelling.
The idea to give all of this a proper shape was entirely our own. Out on the field at work, over long conversations we slowly understood how travel should really feel. Not rushing to cover every commercial point in a short time, but controlling the time, slowing down, stretching out and taking a deep breath.
We also saw the other side of things. Many agents sit far outside the state and simply send visitors to the same few popular stops. They never really see Sikkim, the quiet villages, the smell of home kitchens and the sharing of stories. An authentic and immersive way of travelling felt much needed.
In Sikkim there are thousands of licensed tour operators to choose from. Some handle more than 10,000 tourists a year and some don't even get a single client.
